Who I am

David Gebler is an advisor, author, and executive coach focused on the intersection of leadership, ethics, and organizational culture. He works with CEOs, boards, and senior leadership teams to help them navigate ethical risk, surface blind spots, and make sound decisions under pressure—when incentives, power, and values collide.

David has spent decades building and leading ethics and compliance programs in complex, highly regulated environments, pairing formal governance with practical leadership behaviors that foster trust and accountability. His work emphasizes creating speak-up cultures, strengthening psychological safety, and helping leaders understand how their actions shape culture—often unintentionally.

He is the author of The 3 Power Values and the creator of The Ethics Challenge, and he is currently writing Oxymoron: A History of Business Ethics Education. David’s advisory work is grounded, candid, and outcomes-driven, helping organizations align performance with credibility and long-term trust.
